Travis Tischler is an American filmmaker and video artist based in New York, New York. His personal work explores different modes of observation, typically through the exploration of labor spaces and the people, dialogue and objects that inhabit it. These works typically fit the realm of experimental or documentary - usually finding a way to combine the two.

His work for others consists within a wide range of formats, from fashion films to narrative shorts to exhibition based videos. In these he serves most typically as a Director of Photography.  

He is a student at NYU Tisch, studying Film and English Literature.

He makes music under the moniker Rockland.
